So basically BJORK X MICHEL GONDRY can do no wrong. Actually Bjork by herself is a colossal force of nature. Absolutely starstruck by the visuals in this video. Bjork I salute you…again.

Mash-up Galore

Now I know not everyone appreciates the Youtube mash up. On the most part edited by pre-amatures, the final products are poorly edited and serve no purpose on the net waves. Mash-ups are overdone, tacky at times, and mostly boring, but these Radiohead Lotus Flower Mash-ups are way too priceless to ignore.

Incredible.

As a fellow youtuber put it so eloquently, move over Coca-Cola and put your lorry in the scrap yard. This years John Lewis Christmas advert by Adam & Eve has even the hardest Ad men discreetly gulping down, and blinking away tears at their desks. So sweet, simple, and excellently produced. Slow Moving Millies cover of the Smiths Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want, definitely the ribbon on the package.

One word. Awesome.

Rammstein are incredible.

Everybody’s born with some different thing at the core of their existence. And that thing, whatever it is, becomes like a heat source that runs each person from the inside. I have one too, of course. Like everybody else. But sometimes it gets out of hand. It swells or shrinks inside me, and it shakes me up. What I’d really like to do is find a way to communicate that feeling to another person.

Hella More Funner

The coolest fucking website ever. Fact.

What the flying fuck! 2 am in the morning, and I am pretty damn sure I just found the crack at the end of the internet rainbow. Hella More Funner is an art collective consisting of creative duo Adam Gray and Sam Fuchs. After spending an abundance of hours collecting images from the net, they set about collaging them into insane pieces of mind blowing art.

“Who are our influences? Turn on the TV and flip through 900 channels as fast as you can. Don’t blink.”

Amazing.

If you are in the NYC area be sure to check out the Hella More Funner Pizza Party Exhibition at Wire+Nail Gallery, some things just need to be seen in the physical form.

Jonathan Harris: Balloons of Bhutan

Balloons of Bhutan is a project by Jonathan Harris, completed in 2007, and finally given to the people of the interwebs to enjoy. Described as a portrait of happiness in the last himalayan kingdom, the final product is a mixture of portraits of each smiling participant, a short description of what makes them happy their hands, and a handwritten wish written on a ballon. If you’re familiar at all with Jonathan’s work, We Feel Fine, I Want You To Want Me you’ll know that the digital environments he creates online are something spectacular, expect no less of Balloons of Bhutan.

Twitter Stories

Am I the only person that didn’t know twitter had a blog? And what do you know, the posts are longer than 140 characters. Today saw the launch of Twitter Stories, where you can read how one tweet was the catalyst to changing someones life. One man managed to get a kidney donor from a tweet, another saved a bookstore from going out of  business. As the world of Social Media becomes a bigger and much stronger part of life, and our virtual lives become more interesting than our real lives, it’s easy to get caught up in the buzz of network, Twitter Stories is a great project that reminds us that  on the other side of the screen is another human being.
